PATRIOT LAKE has been called by many "Galloway's Best Kept Secret".  This beautiful park is totally handicap-accessible and features walking paths, a fishing pier, an event gazebo, and many beautiful gardens.  Click here for the Adopt a Garden Brochure (PDF). PATRIOT LAKE is also an active monument to the patriots who were victims of the September 11th tragedy that struck our nation. The lake is located on the Municipal Complex grounds behind the Atlantic Co. Library and Imagination Station. It is a newly-formed four-acre lake and park that offers a wealth of passive recreational activities. There is a pedestrian path around the lake and a shaded picnic area. Many benches and large trees have been sponsored and are in place. The lake is stocked for fishing, and several landscape projects are complete. Three memorial gardens (one for each 9/11 attack site) are in place, as well as a monument to dedicate PATRIOT LAKE. A beautiful gazebo now graces the edge of the lake.
